These guys seem perfect together, but the reviews for WHATEVER WORKS so far have been mixed.
Regardless of what the critics say, they’re both comic geniuses, so it still won’t curb my enthusiasm…er, whatever.

so, are you saying that you watched the movie and its great or these guys have a sterling reputation and there is no way in hell it could be tarnished to a point the film wasn’t worth seeing. I came here expecting honest feedback, please live up to this expectation. Thanks!
He’s saying that (I’m guessing) like most people, he didn’t go see this movie, but the reviews clearly state that the movie is basically Woody Allen’s autobiography on film, and that Larry David is just playing him.
He’s also saying that the movie “Twins” rocked.
And what Woody Allen movie wasn’t his autobiography on film?
And about Twins, duly noted, but that part I got. No words are necessary to express that sentiment.
Nope, haven’t seen it, but yes, I do love the comedic stylings of both. That said, movie tastes are so subjective. For example, I loved SHADOWS AND FOG, but I can’t imagine recommending it to anyone…unless they’re a fan of lightweight German Expressionism.
But you’re both right. TWINS did rock–especially the poster!
