Eddie Munster Meets Planet of the Apes?

Martinati Straight Up!

Heritage Auctions is putting on another one of their Movie Poster Signature Auctions Nov. 29-30 in Dallas, Texas this week — and I’m pretty high on their lots from Italian master, Luigi Martinati (of the infamous BCM Studio – aka Ballester Capitani Martinati) — who created all the elegant manifestos below.

Happy Haunted Halloween!

Whether you’re spending this Halloween out haunting or staying in to nest, have a howlin’ good time!

The Grand Iluzjon

If the names Flisak, Mlodozeniec, and Swierzy make your eyeballs go in a tizzy, then you’ll be thrilled to witness the Iluzjon of beautiful Polish movie posters on display at 18 Hewett Street in London this week (Oct. 19-29), compliments of EyeSeaPosters and Protein.

There’s also a special preview night on Oct. 18 where I’m sure the Polish vodka will be honored as well!

Double Barrel, baby!

What does the USA French one-sheet for Sugarland Express (thanks, Eatbrie!) and the Polish poster for River of No Return have in common?
