I’m There!

Character posters flashback from the Dylan biopic, I’m Not There

Remake Monday: Bastardized!

Okay, Quentin Tarantino‘s Inglorious Basterds (2009) isn’t technically a remake of the Inglorious Bastards of ’78 — other than the title and a slight plot resemblance of ex-WWII soldiers wreaking havoc on the Nazis…but, with the recent success of The Expendables, there’s no doubt that QT reinvented what surely will be a new wave of 70’s style action-adventure ensemble films.

Feel The Expendability!

This weekend’s big new release is like an action fan’s wet dream. Whether or not it muscles out a billion bucks at the box office, you’ve gotta admire Stallone & Co. for trying!

Expendable Characters

Only time will tell if these character posters are truly expendable. But I wonder if Sly came up with the title for his new movie while reciting lines from his old Rambo movies.

Sucker Punch’d!

Here’s the new character posters for Suckerpunch. Is it just me or did Zack Snyder pitch this thing as Manga meets 300? It’s like Takashi Murakami on steroids!

New Woody

Here’s the new one-sheets for Woody Allen’s latest, You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger (via MoviePosterDB)…

Font-erific!

I think these two recent posters for the Joaquin Phoenix documentary, I’m Still Here, and the Tilda Swinton-starrer, I Am Love, prove that the “disappearing” font is now officially a pop design trend…

Remake Monday: Stepford Wives Club

Nicole Kidman (2004) vs. The Stepford Wives (1975).

Poster Ripoff?

They say great artists steal and bad artists just copy. Well, this looks like a bad Adaptation — even though I loved the Spike Jonze movie!
